Khyentse Foundation is one of many organizations overseen by Dzongsar Khyenste Rinpoche. With varying visions and objectives, including both religious and secular pursuits, these organizations address an array of global concerns. Some projects remain under the Khyentse Foundation umbrella while others operate independently.

Community Support

KF India

KF India was established in 2011 to expand and provide on-the-ground support for Khyentse Foundation’s projects in India.

Lhomon Society

A registered Civil Society Organization formed in 2012 to uphold, support, and promote sustainable development in the Kingdom of Bhutan through grassroots initiatives, holistic education, and training initiatives, such as Lhomon Education and the Samdrup Jongkhar Initiative.

Lotus Outreach International

A nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and children living in poverty through access to education, training, and care.

Kanishka School

A Buddhist school for children in the trans-Himalayan region that prepares students for study at Dzongsar Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö Institute and elsewhere.

Monasteries

Dzongsar Monastery

The birthplace of the Khyentse lineage, a monastic college that supports the traditions of all schools of Buddhism with a curriculum that includes philosophy, poetry, and medicine.

The Samdrup Jongkhar Initiative
