Blade Runner, Blade Runner 2049

“It really makes you think—what if I’m a machine? What am I doing here? What is my purpose? What’s the point if I’m just a machine?”

Blade Runner is a 1982 science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott and written by Hampton Fancher and David Peoples. It is an adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s 1968 novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

Blade Runner 2049 is a 2017 American epic neo-noir science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve and written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green. It is a sequel to the 1982 film Blade Runner.

The Deer Hunter (1978)

“The film makes me actually scared, not in the horror sense but scared of my own tendency to fall for a thrill, especially a thrill that’s to do with adrenaline.”

The Deer Hunter is a 1978 war drama film co-written and directed by Michael Cimino about a trio of Russian-American steelworkers whose lives were upended after fighting in the Vietnam War.
