We are saddened to share the news that Raji Ramanan, a steadfast member of the KF India Program Committee since its inception and a former KF board member, has passed away. Raji played a key role in actively working to revive Buddhism across India, engaging with groups across the country to organize and participate in “Dhamma Teachings” in small villages.
Raji’s commitment to making Buddhism accessible across India led to her translating multiple texts into Indian languages, traveling across the country to personally assist KF-India grantees, and teaching more than 40 courses at Deer Park Institute.
Her contribution to KF, SI, and Buddhism as a whole will be greatly missed.

May be auspicious
Very sad news among Raji’s dead. She is commitment to making Buddhism accessible across India led to her translating and participating . For the past two years Our BUDDHA OUTCAST SOCIAL SOCIETY organized Buddha and his Dhamma Program in 20 Villages south Tamilnadu with the great participation of Raji madam ( Supported by Khyentse foundation ) to train and Create awareness of Buddhist History to more than 2043 Buddha followers and Beneficiaries. Actually we have to plan to organize the meditation program in Tamilnadu in Coming January month and also we had ongoing our discussion with her regarding this. But Her contribution to Our BOSS NGO and Buddhism as a whole will be greatly missed.
