Work as Practice Scholarship

Khyentse Foundation Work as Practice Scholarships support people who wish to acquire the practical skills they need, such as accounting or management, to benefit a dharma center, monastery, or sangha. These scholarships are intended to help the sustainability of a dharma community, and applicants should plan to use their new skills for that purpose.

Applications are reviewed by an international selection committee appointed by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche.

KF accepts Work as Practice Scholarship applications twice a year, from December 15 to January 15 and from June 15 to July 15. Applications are due by midnight Eastern Time on the last day of the application period and late submissions will not be accepted. Applicants will be notified by May 15 and November 15, respectively.

KF Work as Practice scholarships are awarded based on the scope of the project.
