Sean is a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. On the Scholarships Committee, he helps review applications twice a year.
Sean has spent his career working in corporate turnarounds and rescues, with particular focus on corporate strategy and leadership in underperforming companies. His current interests are in the impact and use of artificial intelligence in organizations and what Buddhadharma can contribute to AI research. He has a BA in International Relations from George Washington University, Washington, DC. He is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO); he recently founded the Straits Tigers Chapter.
I picked up Rinpoche’s book Not For Happiness, curious about why anyone would try to sell a book with that title. I read it slowly while hiking the Shikoku Henro Buddhist pilgrimage route in Japan, and it sustained me through typhoon rainfall, steep mountain passes, and blistered feet. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to support Rinpoche’s projects and plans.
