Annie serves as Khyentse Foundation’s grants manager. The role is an integral part of the foundation’s core mission to support the study and practice of Buddhism and is fundamental to KF as a grant-offering organization. The grants manager acts as the main contact between KF and its beneficiaries and oversees every aspect of the application review and funding of KF grants.
Annie was born in Hong Kong and grew up in New York City. She graduated from the University of Rochester with a double major in religion and economics. She has 15+ years in the technology web space with a focus on operations strategy and implementation. Annie now lives with her partner Simon at Zen Mountain Monastery, where she’s developed a love for the forest and all its inhabitants—especially the birds and chipmunks. She is well traveled, loves to cook, and in particular, eat! She also has a knack for organizing and keeping things tidy.
I have been Buddhist most of my life and a student of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche since 2011.
