PhD Program and Research Scholarship

Khyentse Foundation PhD Program and Research Scholarships are intended to support individuals who are currently working toward a PhD in Buddhist Studies. This scholarship program aims to provide support for PhD students, to help with their research activities, travel, publication, or other needs. KF accepts applications from people who are currently enrolled in PhD program, doing research for their PhD degree, or working on their doctoral dissertation. People studying in any tradition, school, or sect of Buddhism are encouraged to apply.

WHEN:

KF accepts PhD Program and Research Scholarship applications once a year, from June 15 – July 15. Applicants will be notified by November 15. 

HOW:

Applications are reviewed by an international selection committee appointed by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. 

HOW MUCH:

Maximum award is US$5,000 per year.
