Scholarships Committee Chair
Stephanie was born in Easton, PA and earned her BFA in painting in 1982 from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. She works in the tradition of drawing and prefers making her own materials, drawing with silverpoint and painting on reclaimed ivory. Her artwork has been included in exhibitions in Philadelphia, NYC, Chicago, Israel, and South America. She has supported herself as an artist in various ways ranging from decorative painting to owning and operating a boutique women’s shoe store. She currently lives and works in Vermont. Stephanie has worked on KF’s scholarship committee since 2011 and is currently serving as Chair.

Choki Traditional Art School, Thimphu, Bhutan is a charitable art school which provides free education to underprivileged youths in traditional arts and crafts. Painting of Buddhist arts (god, goddesses, mandala etc) forms an integral part of the study. We would like to request if there is any possibility of getting some some support from the Khyentse Foundation.
